THE AUTHOR’S NOTE

Whole Again was not written from a place of having all the answers. It was written from the middle—between heartbreak and healing, between surrender and strength, between who I was and who I was becoming. This book is a companion for the quiet moments. The ones where growth feels slow, waiting feels heavy, and faith must be chosen daily. Through poetry, reflection, and guided journaling, I wanted to create a space that allows honesty without shame and healing without pressure. The Pencil-Knight represents a truth I had to learn for myself: real courage is not forged in armor, but in vulnerability. It is shaped by prayer, by creativity, and by the willingness to sit with uncomfortable truths long enough for transformation to take root. You will also find augmented reality (AR) elements woven into this book—intended to deepen reflection and invite moments of pause, presence, and connection beyond the page. These elements are optional, but they exist to remind you that healing is not linear, and sometimes it speaks to us in unexpected ways. This is not a book about perfection. It is a book about wholeness. Take your time with these pages. Write when you’re ready. Skip when you need to. Return when something calls you back. There is no right pace—only your own.
